TB cases rise in eastern Visayas

THE Department of Health (DoH) has recorded an increase in tuberculosis (TB) cases in Eastern Visayas, prompting the agency to urge the implementation of preventative measures.

DoH regional TB nurse coordinator Caryl Lapriza said that at least 3,266 people were diagnosed with the condition in the first quarter of 2023.
