PRO6 honors policeman killed by rebels

BACOLOD CITY: The Police Regional Office 6 posthumously awarded a medal to a police officer who died during an encounter on August 9 with New People's Army (NPA) rebels in Barangay Minapasuk, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.

The Medalya ng Kadakilaan was conferred by BGen. Sidney Villaflor, regional police director of Western Visayas, on Cpl. Jaime Nuñez on Saturday, August 12.
