TO enhance the employability of young Filipino jobseekers, Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pascal Resources Energy Inc. President Siu Ping and Beyond Innovations Inc. President Hans Kenneth Tan for the implementation of JobStart Philippines.

JobStart Philippines was designed to be the DoLE program that would prepare young Filipinos for employment through career coaching, technical and life-skills training, and internships with employers.
Laguesma showed a copy of the MoU after the ceremonial signing at the DoLE central office in Intramuros, Manila on Aug. 7, 2023.
Undersecretary Carmela Torres and Assistant Secretary Paul Vincent Añover of the DoLE Employment and Human Resource Development Cluster witnessed the ceremony.
