PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has green-lighted a new Labor and Employment Plan (LEP) 2023-2028 which aims to address unemployment and underemployment in the country.
Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said on Tuesday that the initiative is meant to ensure Filipino workers' skills are up to date and at par with the needs of different industries and with the changing times while also improving the employability of the workforce.
