GOCC subsidies up 20.7% in first half

SUBSIDIES given to government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs) rose in the first half of 2023 from a year earlier, Treasury bureau data showed.

Based on the agency's latest cash operations report, the six-month budgetary support of P63.701 billion was 20.7 percent higher than the year-ago P52.745 billion.
