TRANSITIONING to the new normal, Department of Science and Technology (DoST) Secretary Renato Solidum emphasized the importance of developing technologies that would benefit the local economy.

Likewise, he said there was a need 'for our engineers and scientists to have an entrepreneurial mindset and aim to see those innovations in the market' that could provide the solutions the industry needed.
