Inflation could hit target before Q4, says BSP exec

INFLATION could return to the 2.0- to 4.0-percent target range earlier than forecast, a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) official said on Friday.

'There's actually some chance then we may even go back to within target before the fourth quarter (Q4) and that is something that will be considered,' central bank Deputy Governor Francisco Dakila Jr. said during an economic briefing in Cebu.
