BPI: Onion imports to ensure stable supply

ONION importation will ensure prices remain stable and supply will be enough, the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) said.

Henrick Exconde, BPI assistant division chief, said on Monday that 4,313.56 metric tons (MT) of yellow onions arrived on Aug. 3, 2023 for buffer stocking.
