BACOLOD CITY: The policeman wounded in a firefight with suspected New People's Army (NPA) rebels on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, has received cash assistance.
Cpt. Judesses Catalogo, spokesman for the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, said Cpl. Dennis Nasis of the Calatrava Police Station received a P90,000 cash assistance from both NOCPPO and Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) for his surgery and medication.
