THE Quezon City government has directed all barangay officials to team up with the City Health Department to address the spike in leptospirosis, with 10 cases recorded in a single day.
Mayor Maria Josefina "Joy" Belmonte said she has instructed Dr. Rolando Cruz, the city's Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU) chief, to lead the anti-leptospirosis campaign.
