House has 5 weeks to pass budget bill

SPEAKER Ferdinand Martin Romualdez gave the House of Representatives five weeks to scrutinize and pass the proposed P5.768-trillion 2024 national budget.

On Thursday, the House started deliberations on the proposed budget with a briefing by members of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s economic team, comprising the Development Budget Coordination Committee.
