The House of Representatives started deliberations on the proposed P5.768-trillion 2024 national budget with a briefing on Thursday by members of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s economic team comprising the Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC).
Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno said during the briefing that to "ensure a sound fiscal management," the DoF, together with the economic team, has set the Medium-Term Fiscal Framework (MTFF) targets.
