Pavvurulun Afi festival kicks off in Tuguegarao

TUGUEGARAO CITY: The much-awaited Pavvurulun Afi Festival, held annually to celebrate blessings and prosperity, kicked off on Tuesday night with a parade that started at the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral and ended at the Cagayan Sports Complex here.

About 7,000 people joined the parade, which featured more than 500 dancers.
