Murder suspect nabbed in Maguindanao del Sur

AUTHORITIES have arrested one of the suspects in the 2022 murder of a police lieutenant in Sultan Kudarat and, at the same time, foiled the suspect's attempt to execute another police officer on Monday, August 7, in Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.

BGen. Allan Nobleza, police director of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), on Tuesday identified the arrested suspect as Hamid Mling, a member of the outlawed Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).
