FARM output fell in the second quarter as crops, livestock and poultry gains failed to offset a double-digit contraction for fisheries, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Wednesday.
The 1.3-percent decline for April-June was steeper than the 0.5-percent fall posted a year earlier. At constant 2018 prices, the value of agriculture and fisheries production amounted to P427.69 billion from P433.1 billion in the same period last year, PSA data showed.
