THE Lucban Small Water Irrigation System Association (Swisa) in a barangay in Isabela has ventured into the processing of brown rice, with cookies and puffed balls as their initial products.
The women's group in Barangay Lucban, Benito Soliven in Isabela, received a brown rice milling machine from the Department of Agriculture-Cagayan Valley Research Center (DA-CVRC) as part of a Community-based Participatory Action Research project aimed at boosting the productivity and income of rice farmers.
