THE Marawi Compensation Board (MCB) has received claims amounting to P800 million from the family members of those killed during the bloody five-month Marawi Siege involving the Philippine military and the Daesh-inspired Maute group in 2017.

MCB chairman Maisara Dandamun-Latiph said the amount is based on the claims filed by at least 2,013 residents since July 4.
