Magalong: Honor senior citizens discounts

BAGUIO CITY: Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified City Council Resolution 430, Series of 2023, reminding all drugstores in the Summer Capital to comply with the provisions of Republic Act 9994 otherwise known as the 'Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010' on the granting of senior citizen discounts.

The Act grants senior citizens, those ages 60 years and above, privileges and benefits including a 20 percent discount on their purchases from all establishments like drugstores and also medical and dental services.
