Tel Aviv attack wounds Israeli, suspect shot

Jerusalem, Undefined: A shooting in Israel's commercial hub Tel Aviv left a man in critical condition Saturday, authorities said, with police reporting the suspected assailant was shot by an armed municipal officer.

The attack comes amid a surge in violence in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and a day after a 19-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.
