Gilas rediscovers offense in payoff period to rip Iran Team B

Gilas Pilipinas got off to a hot start, struggled on its offense in the middle quarters, before rediscovering its shooting in the final canto en route to a 63-48 win over a hard-fighting Iran Team B at the close of the 2023 Heyuan WUS International Basketball Tournament in Guangdong, China.

The Filipinos relied on the steady playmaking of Kiefer Ravena as Gilas exploded for 19 points, while limiting the Iranians to just five in the payoff quarter to close the China tourney with a 3-1 record.
