BACOLOD CITY: The Provincial Health Office (PHO) has reported that there have been nine suspected leptospirosis, six dengue and four cholera deaths in Negros Occidental this year.
Dr. Girlie Pinongan, officer in charge and provincial health officer, said they recorded 23 suspected leptospirosis cases in Negros Occidental, with nine deaths from January 1 to July 29.
