Meet Asian Cultural Council grantee Maria Christine Muyco

Our featured artist today is Maria Christine Muyco, a full-time professor with a PhD in Philippine studies, at the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Music.

She has received several prestigious grants and fellowships, including the 2022 Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Artist Residency in Italy, the Fulbright Foundation, and Japan Foundation Asia Center (JFAC) grants in 2016, and the 2011 Asian Cultural Council (ACC) fellowship.
