CAGAYAN de Oro Second District Rep. Rufus Rodriguez on Saturday slammed the Baguio City court's decision to convict two former Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadets involved in the 2019 death of freshman Darwin Dormitorio of "slight physical injuries."

"I am utterly disappointed with the verdict, which is like a slap on the wrist. The kid-gloves decision will not discourage hazing. It is a travesty of the Anti-Hazing Law," Rodriguez said.
