SENATE Minority Leader Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel 3rd on Saturday questioned the billion-peso allocation for confidential and intelligence funds (CIFs) of the Marcos administration in the proposed P5.768-trillion National Expenditure Program.
"The allocation of P9.2 billion to confidential and intelligence funds while our fellow Filipinos in calamity-stricken areas suffer raises serious questions about the government's understanding of the real needs and challenges faced by our country," said Pimentel in a statement.
