THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has ordered a price freeze on basic commodities in Region 3 (Central Luzon), which had been placed under a state of calamity because of the damage inflicted by the southwest monsoon and Typhoon "Egay."
The price freeze will last for 60 days, the DTI said on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.
