MORE than 3 million persons have been affected and over 200,000 were displaced due to the effects of the southwest monsoon or "habagat" enhanced by typhoons Egay (international name Doksuri) and Falcon (international name Khanun), according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Based on its bulletin issued on Friday, a total of 3,028,040 individuals or 805,621 families across 14 regions have been affected by the devastation while 287,057 persons were displaced.
