THE Commission on Population and Development (CPD) will focus on socioeconomic issues on top of its mandate to promote reproductive health and family methods, its new head said.
CPD Executive Director Dr. Lisa Grace Bersales said the agency will give special focus on issues such as adolescent pregnancy, which prevents young girls ages 10 to 14, from attaining quality education.
