(UPDATE) THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) filed 127 tax evasion cases against 214 corporate officers amounting to P6.1 billion with the Department of Justice on Thursday.
BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. said this is his "latest offensive against businesses and corporations who are not paying their proper taxes." "Corporations and their officers should follow all regulations of the BIR," Lumagui said.
