Creba exec: Review land ownership limits

THE Philippines could look into allowing foreigners to own land if this would lead to business activities and create jobs, a Chamber of Real Estate and Builders' Associations Inc. (Creba) official said on Thursday.

'Maybe in selected areas, if ownership of the land will generate business, if it will generate employment ... then maybe we can consider [it],' Alejandro Mañalac, Creba international committee chairman, said at a forum organized by The Manila Times.
