'Old' Ian expected to be back in October

(UPDATE) MAGNOLIA Chicken Timplados coach Chito Victolero said veteran big man Ian Sangalang is recovering well from his thyroid illness, which have sidelined him for a huge part of last season's PBA Governors' Cup.

Though the 6-foot-7 Sangalang managed to play three games in the just-concluded PBA On Tour, Victolero said the decision was simply based on a 'trial phase' to see how he would react to competitive basketball.
