DoLE to mediate Ceneco labor row

BACOLOD CITY: The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) has assumed jurisdiction over the labor dispute between Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) and the Ceneco Union of Rational Employees (CURE).

Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, in an order dated July 28, 2023, said any intended labor strike by Ceneco workers will not be allowed.
