DAGUPAN CITY: Health officials have warned residents here of waterborne diseases such as leptospirosis as floodwaters have not totally subsided in this city's 31 villages on Wednesday, August 2.

Dr. Ophelia Rivera, city health officer, said that residents should wear a pair of protective boots if they cannot avoid walking in flooded areas.
