DTI cracks down on illegal products

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) seized noncompliant vape products with flavors and uncertified ceramic tiles during the enforcement operation in Marikina City on July 26.

Trade and Industry Undersecretary Ruth Castelo on Wednesday reported that a total of 41 vape products worth P14,250 were seized and the shops selling them were issued a Notice of Violation, requiring them to submit a written explanation within 48 hours.
