QC grants 20% cut for expeditious RPT payments

QUEZON City Mayor Joy Belmonte announced on Tuesday that the city government will implement a qualified discount for real property tax (RPT) payments beginning next year.

'For those who will pay in full on or before December 31, they will be eligible for a 20-percent discount,' said the mayor, adding that she already signed Ordinance No. SP-3179, S-2023 that amended Section 12 (d), Article 7 of the Quezon City Revenue Code.
