Marina to address safety and financial assistance concerns

THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) gave assurances that it would enforce the regulations in place and that it was taking the matter seriously, following the recent tragic incident involving the MB Aya Express.

Marina convened a crucial meeting with representatives from the Talim Island Passenger Motorboat and Patron Association (Tipmopa) to address the urgent issues at hand. During the meeting, critical points were raised, shedding light on the current situation and emphasizing the need for immediate action.
