A TOTAL of 14,407 Bulakenyos were forced to leave their homes and take shelter in various evacuation centers in the province after their respective houses were inundated by up to 5 feet of flood water brought about by Typhoon "Egay" since Thursday's heavy rains.

Based on the situational report by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) headed by Rowena Tiongson, the 163 evacuation centers in the province currently house 3,727 families, including children and senior citizens.
