'Albay endures Egay's wrath'

ALBAY Gov. Edcel Greco Lagman said that Super Typhoon 'Egay' had no significant effect on Mount Mayon's volcanic activity.

Lagman noted in a public briefing on Friday that no 'complex calamity,' or the combination of two or more natural disasters such as a typhoon, volcano eruption, or mudflow, had occurred.
