TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite: The province of Cavite was declared under a state of calamity by virtue of Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution 2639-2023 released by Vice Gov. Athena Tolentino at 3:11 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023.The declaration, which covers all eight cities and all 15 towns of the whole province, stemmed from the onslaught of Super Typhoon 'Egay.'
