Support for health care workers post-Covid urged

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go backed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s decision to lift the state of public health emergency due to Covid-19, emphasizing the evolving need to focus now on economic recovery as cases of the disease continue to decline.

'We respect the decision of President Bongbong Marcos Jr. of lifting the state of public health emergency in our country. We trust that it was arrived at after careful consideration of the present health issue and the need to finally open up the economy,' he said.
