Cosco Capital profit hits P6B in first half

COSCO Capital Inc., the listed retail holding firm of tycoon Lucio Co, on Thursday reported that consolidated net income grew by 7.8 percent to P6 billion in the first half, from P5.6 billion a year earlier, amid recovering consumer demand.

Consolidated revenues grew by 12.3 percent to P98.2 billion from P87.4 billion a year earlier on the back of strong revenues from all business segments.
