Catantan bags 2 golds in day 1 of Burlington International

Sophia Catantan came through with two gold medals as she ruled two different events while Louis Shoemaker, Faber Cabrera and Nina Canlas dominated their respective divisions in day 1 of the 1st Burlington Inter-Club International Fencing Challenge on Wednesday, July 26 at the Activity Center of the Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City.

Catantan, the champion in the 85th UAAP junior women's foil who represents University of the East and Canlas Fencing in this 5-day event, won in the 14-under and 17-under divisions.
