Gapas assumes post as NPD chief

THE Northern Police District (NPD) has a new director — Brig. Gen. Rizalito Gapas.

Gapas, former Special Action Force deputy director, replaced Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., who was designated as acting chief of the Legislative Affairs Center of the Directorate for Plans of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Camp Crame.
