Fil-Canadian named minister in Trudeau cabinet

Filipino Canadian Member of Parliament (MP) Rechie Valdez has been named to prime minister Justin Trudeau's cabinet.

Valdez, an MP for Mississauga—Streetsville in the province of Ontario, was named as the Minister for Small Business.
