Academic mobility – Part 2

OUTWARD looking, internationally minded, and open to the best academic minds from their countries and from the world — these are the characteristics of the best universities of the 21st century.' These characteristics do not favor hiring their own graduates after graduate studies, usually on the doctorate level. However, if these graduates have had some fresh experience with pedagogy from one or a couple of their professors during their graduate studies, they would, on their own, share those ideas and initiate knowing more. Particularly the younger and unmarried ones may wish to gain similar exposure by applying for grants to experience and study offshores.
