THE Senate is expected to adopt today, Wednesday, a resolution asking the Philippine government to elevate before the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) China's harassment of Philippine vessels in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).
Sen. Ana Theresia "Risa" Hontiveros last June 19 introduced Resolution 659, urging the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to sponsor a resolution before the UNGA calling on China to stop bullying Philippine Coast Guard vessels in the WPS.
