(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has accepted the resignation of 18 high-ranking officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) allegedly involved in illegal drug activities in the country, three of them generals, Malacañang said on Tuesday.
Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Garafil said the President accepted their resignation upon the recommendation of the National Police Commission Ad Hoc Advisory Group that investigated the matter.
