SUPER Typhoon "Egay" has been downgraded into a typhoon but affected areas will continue to experience "violent, life-threatening conditions," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.
In its 5 a.m. advisory, Pagasa said that Egay made landfall in Fuga Island, Aparri, Cagayan.
