Banks close branches in typhoon-affected areas

SEVERAL banks on Wednesday closed or shortened working hours at branches in areas affected by Typhoon 'Egay.'

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) advised clients and employees that bank branches in Northern Luzon will 'either be closed or have shortened banking hours today, July 26.'
