Ambuklao Dam in Benguet releases water; 2 villages affected

AS Typhoon 'Egay' continues to dump rain in Northern Luzon, one gate of Ambuklao Dam in Benguet has been opened to release excess water, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.

Pagasa hydrologist Elmer Caringal told The Manila Times via Viber that they had issued the warning before the dam was opened.
