SRA defends decision to move milling season

The Sugar Council earlier urged the SRA to reconsider starting the milling season in August.
SRA Administrator Pablo Luis Azcona said on Tuesday that the start of the milling season on Sept. 1, 2023 was decided based on science and maturity of sugarcane.
